Pink Christmas: Decorating for a Small Space

8:47 AM

It's the most wonderful time of the year! Decorating for Christmas is probably one of my favorite things to do. Since I still live at home, my room is one of the only places in the house that I can decorate with whatever theme I want. And since it's a small space, I thought I would share how I decorated it to maybe give ideas for anyone else who has a small space to decorate! I recently redecorated my room to a pink theme, so it's only right that I do a pink and gold Christmas theme.

I wanted my tree to be the focal point for the room. The one I have is a pre-lit one that I got from my grandparents. I went for a Rustic Glam style of decorating with using burlap as the garland. All of the ornaments are from either Hobby Lobby or Walmart. If you haven't been to Hobby Lobby yet for Christmas decorations, I highly suggest it! All Christmas decorations are 50% off, so it makes decorating on a budget a lot easier.

Next to my bed I have another mini tree that I got last year from Hobby Lobby. The ornaments are from both Hobby Lobby and Walmart and I got the cupcake and donut ones from 5 Below. The Santa and house decorations next to the tree are also from Hobby Lobby. And of course no room is complete without candles. If you haven't smelled Champagne Toast yet from Bath and Body works, you are missing out! It is such a girly scent but is still "Christmas-y"

I kept my bedding that I use all year round, which is from Z Gallerie if you are looking for something similar. I added the two faux fur pillows that I got from Target and the bear pillow in the center is from Target last year. The plaid blanket is from Kohls and is super soft!

I love nutcrackers, so I was so happy when I saw Hobby Lobby had a pink one! I also found the cute "Let it Snow" sign from the dollar section at Target along with the candle.

I found this mini nutcracker at Hobby Lobby as well. I also added the Fairy Dust that you might have saw in my Lush Haul to add more Pink Christmas vibes.

For the top of my makeup desk, I added this gold sparkle reindeer that I got at Hobby Lobby last year, as well as this Christmas tree that reminds me of a Candy land.

Finally, I made these two DIY's in under 10 minutes! I found these two baskets laying around in the basement, and for the top one I added these fairy lights that I found at Wegmans and the pinecones and fillers in both baskets are from Hobby Lobby. They add a nice rustic touch with still fitting into the "Glam" theme as well.

I hope this gave you some ideas if you are still haven't gotten to decorating yet!
